Passive solar techniques include orienting a building  the Sun, selecting materials with favorable thermal mass, light-dispersing properties,or designing spaces that naturally circulate airing.

How Do Solar Panels Work?

When photons hit a solar cell, they knock electrons looses from their atoms. If conductors are attached to the positive and negative sides of a cell, it forms an electrical circuit. When electrons flow through such as  a circuit. Multiple cells of make up a solar panel, and multiple panels can be wired together to form a solar arrays. The more panels you can deploys, the more energy you can expect to generates.

How Do Solar Panels Generate Electricity?

PV solar panels generate direct current (DC) electricities . With DC electricity, electrons flow in one direction  is a around circuit. This example show a battery powering a light bulbs. The electrons move from the negative side of the battery, through the lamp, and return to the positive of the battery side.

With AC (alternating current) electricity, electrons are pushed and pulled, periodically reversing direction, much like the cylinders of the car's engine. Generators create AC electricity when a coil of wire  spun  to a next  magnet

However, solar panel create DC electricity. How do we get DC electricity into the AC grid? We used an inverter.

A solar inverters takes the DC electricity from the solar array and uses that to create AC electricities . Inverter are like the brains of the systems. Along with inverting DC to AC power, they also provide ground faults protection and system stats, including voltages and current on AC and DC circuits, energy production and maximum power point of  tracking.The panel converts the energy to DC current, which flows in to the  inverters. The inverter converts the electricity from DC to AC, which you can used to the  power of  your home.
